# Pop-Ups
#### Basic configuration
1. In your admin panel, go to "Extensions > My Extensions."
2. Install and activate the app.
3. Clear the cache under "Settings > System > Caches & Indexes > Clear Cache".
#### Add Pop-Up
Under "Marketing > Pop-Ups", you now have the option to create and configure pop-ups. Click on “Add Pop-Up” to access the editing screen.

Once a pop-up has been closed, it will not be displayed again for one week, provided that the visitor has accepted the cookies for comfort features. If they have not been accepted, the pop-up will only be stored in the session and will reappear when the page is called up again in a new browser window at a later point in time.

Name
Here you can give the pop-up a name. It is for internal use only.
Priority
This specifies which pop-up takes precedence on a page under the same conditions.
Valid from
Use this field to define when the pop-up should be displayed. Leave this field blank to display the pop-up immediately.
Valid until
Use this field to define how long the pop-up should be displayed. Leave this field blank to display the pop-up indefinitely.
Sales Channels
Defines in which sales channels the pop-up should be displayed.
Active
Decides whether the pop-up is active or inactive.

Only one pop-up is displayed per page. If multiple pop-ups match a page, the one with the highest priority is used.

Trigger
At present, the app provides two trigger types. If you require a different trigger, please do not hesitate to contact us.
**After X seconds**\
The pop-up will appear after the defined number of seconds.
**On exit intent**\
The pop-up appears as soon as the visitor wants to leave the page and moves the mouse pointer to the top of the browser bar. The higher the configured threshold, the earlier the pop-up appears. Since there is no mouse pointer on mobile devices, the pop-up is always displayed on mobile devices with this option when 50% of the page has been scrolled.
Display area
This setting determines where the pop-up should be displayed.
**Every page**\
The pop-up appears on every page.
**Category pages**\
The pop-up appears on every category page.
**Product detail pages**\
The pop-up appears on every product detail page.
**Custom category**\
The pop-up appears on the category page, which can be linked in the field to the right.
**Custom product**\
The pop-up appears on the product detail page, which can be linked in the field to the right.

Layout

Max width (in px)
This field can be used to define the width of the pop-up.
Remove Pop-Up header
This option allows you to hide the header of the pop-up. This means that the content of the shopping experience stretches across the full width.
Close icon color
Defines the color accordingly.
